Here at NudgeUp we stress the significance of behaviour across organisations, industry and other populations.

We use our expertise, in behaviour change and decision-making research, to break down your problems into bite-sized chunks so they can be easily analysed, solved and changed.

We aim to benefit organisations in three easy steps:

  1. Observe - investigate the specific issue and highlight the corresponding problematic areas.
  2. Implement - develop, create and implement innovative behaviour change interventions.
  3. Analyse - collect and analyse behaviour change data to provide evidence and insight for the intervention

PROJECTS

GREEN FOOTPRINTS AND HEALTHY EATING We designed and implemented a research project that aimed to increase fruit purchases (apples, bananas and oranges) in a supermarket. Through thorough observations and analysis we designed an intervention (green footprints) that increased the fruit purchasing by 99.6%.

SHOPPING BEHAVIOURS This project involved manipulating the space and locations of food items in a cafeteria. This project increased the healthy food purchasing, inside the cafeteria,by 137%. .

"HEALTHY" EATING PROJECT We designed a "healthy" style menu, using theories from behavioural economics, for a cafe in Plymouth.  After running a pilot research project, we increased healthy food purchases by over 500%. This project is in it's next stage of development where it will be implemented in a larger number of cafes.
